Malik’s background is in Electronics and Communication Engineering, combined with extensive knowledge in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of challenging objectives in electronics device circuits, sensor fabrication and design, control systems, biomedical engineering, bioelectronics for healthcare, and microwave engineering.
Malik is a PhD Researcher at Walton Institute. His research focuses on automated music therapy for anxiety and depression management in older people. Prior to this, Malik worked as a junior research fellow in the Centre for Biomedical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in New Delhi.
Malik’s research interests focus on the design, fabrication and use of electronic sensors as non-invasive wearables for ailment prediction and therapeutics for healthcare. He is passionate about leveraging his skills and experience to contribute to solving complex engineering challenges, enhancing skill development, and advancing Walton Institute’s goals while contributing to the betterment of society.
